Member Testimonial

by Truliant on February 11, 2010

At Truliant, we have an internal Success Story Inbox that allows staff to share some of the great things they are doing to help our member-owners. We decided to switch things up today and share something that was sent in from one of our members.

The members email was referencing how happy she was with two ladies on staff at our downtown Winston-Salem, NC Member Financial Center. Here’s some of what she had to say,

“To give you an example of how highly I regard Cindy & Helen, when I purchased a vehicle from a dealership (name extracted), I turned down a rate of 2.8%, with the dealership, and took my loan to Truliant solely because I know Cindy & Helen are always there to answer ANY question with patience and concern for my needs.

I guess you might think I’m nuts to finance a car at a higher rate, just because I value my rapport and relationship with the credit union staff, but money isn’t everything. When you want your members to feel like family, take a lesson from Cindy & Helen (and Susan before them) and I think you’ll find your answer.

Cindy & Helen are always taking time to mention new programs that may benefit us (like the Rainy Day Account). Bottom line, I don’t feel like I’m a number when I do my banking at the GMAC branch, and that is priceless.”

What a fantastic story! Thanks for sharing.

I know what she means, I trust Melissa Franklin at the Mebane branch just as much. She and her staff make me feel like ” family ” not just a customer. Always a smile and a friendly greeting.

I love Trulient Credit Union. We have done all our banking there for many, many years, just like my parents have. I’m a NC poet and I deposit all my book sale money from my new collection, Telling Tales of Dusk, into my Trulient account–so the more that people buy my books, the more of my money Trulient will be holding! And we always go to Trulient for car loans, etc. We trust them and their service. Thanks so much everyone! All the best, Terri Kirby Erickson
