Proud to be a Member-Owner!

Have you ever been moved by the power of a song? Perhaps the song or music evoked conversation or thoughts that would not ordinarily come up in discussion.

My husband and I were dining with my sister and brother-in-law in Las Vegas, overlooking the picturesque fountains of the Bellagio as Lee Greenwood’s song, ‘Proud to be an American’ was playing to the water show. It was a beautiful setting and you just felt this enormous sense of awe as you enjoyed the dancing fountains and the music. That song is poignant as it embraces the privilege of what it is and means to be an American.

Belligo

A few minutes later, as we were enjoying dinner and anticipating the next water show – something was brought up about the economy, savings and how so much has changed in America and the world today. My brother-in-law said, “You know, so many people seem to be taking their money to credit unions and it may not be a bad idea.”

I was soooo excited to share my experiences with him about credit unions and how I too discovered and am enjoying the, oh so many benefits of my credit union, Truliant Federal Credit Union. He was intrigued and maybe a little, impressed because I’m not usually one to talk much about banking matters.

I told him how important it was to Truliant to build relationships with their member-owners and how they take every account, big or small and treat them all with equal attention and service. I went to explain the additional perks Truliant offers and his interest was peaked. He knew this must be a good idea because like I said, I usually don’t discuss things of this nature, so he listened with curiosity.

I don’t know what he’ll do with the information but it felt good to pat Truliant on the back because they deserve it. They are secure and honest in a not so secure world and they take care of their customers (members-owners) needs and that’s what it is all about.

Thanks Truliant!!!
