Truliant Gives Back to Those That Give the Most

by Marjorie on July 21, 2010

For the last 5 years, Truliant has partnered with Ashley Elementary School in the “Fill the Bus” initiative. The “Fill the Bus” campaign started because a parent noticed that teachers were spending a lot of their own money to buy supplies for their classrooms and students. So this parent started the first community effort to help teachers with their needs.

Statistics have shown that first year teachers spend on average $701 for their classrooms.  So Truliant employees want to do their part and help out, by making sure that no student is left behind because of the lack of school supplies. In mid-August, employees of Truliant will deliver school supplies to teachers at Ashley.

Teachers at Ashley Elementary school enjoy lunch with Tripps as they receive their school supplies.
