Truliant Stays in Touch with Local Communities

by Rik on March 9, 2010

In addition to my day job here at Truliant, I’ve been working on my Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

An MBA teaches people a great deal about sales, leadership, finance, negotiation, process design, all of which are useful skills in the business world. However, they finish as distant runners up to the ability to understand who you are doing business for, which is not something most leaders learn in business school.

Truliant takes great pride in hiring from within the communities we serve and giving back to those communities through sponsorships, grants and scholarships. Doing so helps us stay in touch with our members and allows us to be in touch with the community, something we find to be very important.

With all I’ve learned in my career and formal education, one fact remains, there is no place like home. At Truliant we understand the needs of our member-owners and strive each day to learn how we can help improve their financial well being.
