This is the fifth and final post in a series on why I value my relationship with Truliant.
I don’t know about you, but a lot of times it’s the extras that are my favorite… Like sprinkles and caramel sauce on ice cream and slaw and onions on a cheeseburger… they’re like the bonus I get for something that’s already great.
At Truliant, we have extras too… As you’ve already learned from the first four posts in this series, there’s way more to us than just deposits and withdrawals. So reason number five I’m proud of being a member-owner of Truliant is that some of the things we offer go above and beyond. For example:
5) You can buy a vehicle through our auto buying program and you can sit down with a financial advisor for FREE!
Truliant’s CUABS (Credit Union Auto Buying Service) offers some great advantages in the auto buying world. The salespeople are not paid by commission, so you’re not pressured to purchase anything. The CUABS website makes it easy to search through available inventory, ask for more information, and you can even request specific vehicles if you don’t see the one you want! Another perk is that you have the opportunity to sell your vehicle to them, without having to purchase one. CUABS has been around for over 17 years, so they have plenty of experience in the car buying industry.
The financial advice you can get just by being a Truliant member-owner is amazing. The advisors are part of FAAT (Financial Advisors at Truliances), and one of the things that sets them apart from the rest of the advising world is that they’re paid a salary. That means they aren’t trying to get you to put your money somewhere that will benefit their own wallets; they really do have your best interests in mind. I also love that they take the time to explain things to you, so that you’ll really understand what will help your financial well being. It’s easy to meet with someone from FAAT too. You can call or go to a Member Financial Center near you and ask to make an appointment.
Being a member-owner of Truliant Federal Credit Union really is one of those moments in life that you think to yourself, “it’s too good to be true.” But I’m here to tell you it isn’t… Not only are you part of something that is available to enhance your financial future, but you get perks like auto buying and great financial advice for free!
