He graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1985, receiving dual Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marketing and Finance. He has worked for over 20 years in the financial services industry as a mutual fund specialist, stock broker and registered investment advisor representative and currently holds FINRA/NASD licenses series 6, 7, 63, 66 and variable life/life licenses in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Texas and California.
