Truliant FCU Solves the Mystery of Credit Reports
at the 14th Annual Black History Month Business Expo
Winston-Salem, N.C., (January 09, 2009) – Truliant Federal Credit Union will continue its commitment to the communities it serves by participating in the Watchful Network 14th Annual Black History Month Business Expo on February 12, at the Greensboro Coliseum’s Special Events Center.
“This is our third year participating in the Expo and it is such a great event for the community,” said Marjorie Rorie, director of community services for Truliant. “Credit reports and credit scores, as well as the rights and responsibilities that accompany them, are a concern to many consumers. To help answer some of the many questions I have heard over the years, we will be holding an educational seminar entitled, “Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports.””
Truliant’s seminar will take place at 2 p.m. in room 1B in the Special Events Center. Items to be discussed include an overview of credit bureaus, credit scoring, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, guidance on disputing inaccuracies, improving the credit score, and dealing with identity theft and fraud.
