Truliant Federal Credit Union to Hold
Mini-Grant Workshop
 
Winston-Salem, N.C. (April 22, 2009) – Truliant Federal Credit Union will hold a mini-grant information session onThursday, April 30from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Fred J. Sarda Pavillion located at 3200 Truliant Way, Winston-Salem, N.C. The session will allow organizations to learn about Truliant’s mini-grants as well as gain valuable information about successfully writing grants.
 
 “Truliant is truly committed to helping the communities that we serve,” said Marjorie Rorie, director of community services for Truliant Federal Credit Union. “Our Mini-Grant Program is one of the many community based programs that we do each year. This particular workshop has proven to be extremely valuable in the past because applying for grants isn’t always the easiest thing to do and I provide the organizations with the details needed to successfully apply for grants.”
 
To qualify for the mini-grant, community and faith-based agencies have to impact one or more of the following areas: health or human services programs, youth, affordable housing, financial literacy or economic development.
