Experience

Steve Joiner began his career over 30 years ago, first with the Virginia Credit Union League, where he started over 20 Credit Unions, then to the DC Credit Union League, where he rose to Executive Vice President and managed the League’s for-profit subsidiary, Credit Union Services, Inc. While there, he earned the Certified League Executive designation (CLE) and won the Distinguished Project Award twice. Mr. Joiner pioneered one of the nation’s first auto leasing services in the country and one of the first auto buying services in 1983. He joined Truliances as President in 2000, where he provides senior leadership to the Credit Union Auto Buying Service and to the Financial Advisors at Truliances.

Education

Mr. Joiner earned his BA degree in English from George Mason University. His Certified League Executive (CLE) certification was earned at The University of Wisconsin as part of that CUNA program for league executives.
