In an economic climate where more and more nonprofit agencies are struggling to find operational dollars, Truliant has become part of the solution. The “Truliant Community Mini-Grant Program” provides grants to nonprofit organizations to support operational costs. Applicants offer services to underserved groups and/or low-to-moderate income areas in communities surrounding Member Financial Centers in North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. Grant workshops were conducted to prepare participants for writing their grant applications. 134 agencies applied and 29 received funds up to $1,000. |
