Ceremony for New Full-Service Asheboro MFC

Ceremony for New Full-Service Asheboro MFC

Release date: 2/7/2012

Asheboro, N.C. (February 8, 2012) – After 20 years in Asheboro, NC, Truliant Federal Credit Union has relocated to a new full-service Member Financial Center in Randolph County. Truliant’s newest facility, located at 1055 East Dixie Drive, is less than a half-mile from their previous site. The location opened its doors on November 21, 2011.

The new and upgraded financial center was necessary due to the continued growth in the Asheboro area and will allow employees to better serve the Credit Union’s member-owners. Enhancements include more convenient access, three drive-thru lanes, a drive-up, 24-hour no-surcharge ATM, as well as a member-owner greeting station and coffee café. The new location upholds Truliant’s commitment to providing the latest in financial services technology, while maintaining a focus on personal attention and convenience.

“As our membership continues to grow, we needed to expand to a new location to meet all our members’ needs and expectations,” said Marc Schaefer, Truliant’s President and CEO. “We are excited to provide this enhanced Member Financial Center to our member-owners and the surrounding community.”

Today, Truliant celebrated the opening of its newest location with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, featuring performances of The Star Spangled Banner and Lean on Me by South Asheboro Middle School’s 8th grade chorus, and a $1,000 check presentation to the American Cancer Society. In attendance were state Rep. Harold Brubaker, members of the Asheboro City Council and sheriff’s department, as well as executives from the North Carolina Credit Union League.

The celebration was well attended by members, business partners and community representatives. Truliant will continue its grand opening celebration through March 17 with special rate discounts and giveaway items, including drawings for one 16GB iPad each week throughout the promotion.
