Truliant to Build New Member Financial Center in Huntersville, NC

Release date: 11/11/2013

Winston-Salem, NC (November 12, 2013) –Truliant Federal Credit Union broke ground today on a new full-service Member Financial Center in Huntersville in Mecklenburg County. Truliant will expand its presence in the Charlotte area, by opening a state-of-the-art center located at the corner of Gilead Road and Boren Street near Earth Fare; down from Presbyterian Hospital. This new location will open in the spring of 2014 and will help support Truliant’s growing membership in Charlotte and the surrounding communities.

This new facility allows Truliant to expand services and convenience to existing member-owners and welcome new members to the Credit Union in the Huntersville area. The location will provide convenient access, three drive-thru 24-hour advanced-functioning ATM lanes, as well as a member-owner greeting station, kid’s area and technology center. It will also feature cutting-edge technology designed to benefit Truliant members by creating a variety of new ways to make the member experience easier, while providing information and knowledge to build upon their financial foundations. Truliant member-owners will continue to conduct their financial business quickly and comfortably with staff, whether they choose the traditional across-the-counter interaction or our new approach of sharing a touch screen device.

“Our new facility will give our members access to personal, high-tech features while enjoying the convenient, family-like service that distinguishes Truliant,” said Marc Schaefer, Truliant’s President and CEO.

“Not only will this new Member Financial Center provide convenience to our member-owners, it will also allow us to share the benefits of Truliant membership with the residents of the surrounding communities and position us to help more people improve their financial lives,” said Brian Kiser, Truliant’s Southern Regional Director.

Truliant’s mission of improving the quality of life of their members is evident in their decision to build in the Huntersville area. The new location upholds Truliant’s commitment to providing the latest in financial services technology, while maintaining a focus on personal attention and convenience. Truliant plans to host a Grand Opening Celebration in the spring of 2014.
