Truliant Opens Second Burlington/Elon-area location

Winston-Salem, N.C. (April 15, 2014) – Truliant Federal Credit Union held a ribbon cutting for its second Burlington-area Member Financial Center today to support continued growth of its member-owner base in that community.

The facility is located in The Shoppes at Waterford across from Lowes Foods at 1205 University Drive, Suite 114, Burlington, N.C. A Grand Opening celebration promotion includes iPad giveaways and other member offers to celebrate the new branch.

The location debuts a new Truliant branch design that does away with traditional teller lines. Instead it offers unique teller pods designed to provide an enhanced side-by-side, more personal member service experience. The new facility also utilizes electronic signature pads to accelerate processes for members and improve efficiencies for employees, ultimately providing them with additional time to focus on member needs.

Additionally, the location offers a 24-hour, no-surcharge drive-thru ATM, as well as a second ATM located inside the facility, a member-owner greeting station and coffee café. The new ATMs are equipped with enhanced technology features that allow member owners to view deposited checks on their receipts, see an itemized list of deposits, accept multiple deposits without an envelope and dispense multiple denominations.

“We are always looking for ways we can improve the financial lives of our member-owners,” said Chris Murray, Truliant’s central regional director. “We’re excited to provide convenient access to a Truliant Member Financial Center for the growing number of Burlington members and potential new member-owners who live and work in the area.”

Truliant will hold a Community Day Saturday, May 3, 2014, to further celebrate the location’s opening. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and feature food, giveaways and prizes, activities for children and adults and a live remote radio feed from WSMW 98.7 Simon.

The new location upholds Truliant’s commitment to providing the latest in financial services technology, while maintaining a focus on personal attention and convenience. Truliant’s goal is to improve the lives of its member-owners and those in the communities they serve.
