Truliant Donates Water For South Carolina Flood Relief
Release date: 10/15/2015
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Oct. 15, 2015) – Following historic October flooding across much of South Carolina, Truliant Federal Credit Union has donated more than 17,000 bottles of drinking water to assist relief and rehabilitation efforts in the state.
Flooding has impacted thousands of people in the Palmetto state and their homes. Truliant’s donation of 10 pallets of LeBleu drinking water will assist residents of Columbia S.C., one of the areas where extreme rainfall caused catastrophic flooding.
“Severe weather has taken its toll in personal loss, damage and repair costs to roads, communities flooded, dam breaks and property damage,” said Rob McFarland, vice president of business services at Truliant. “We hope this is a start to helping those impacted by the devastating floods experienced in South Carolina.”
