WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 30, 2017) -- Truliant Federal Credit Union, one of the top 100 credit unions in the U.S. by membership size, was named the first-place winner in Triad Business Journal’s 2017 Best Places to Work in the publication’s Extra-Large Employers category.
The publication sought nominations in print, online, and social media for the award. Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, Neb.-based research firm, surveyed employees at nominated companies. Employees evaluated their employer on points designed to measure ten key engagement categories including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.
Truliant was named as number one in the Extra-Large Employers category of companies with more than 300 employees. The credit union has 527 employees in the Piedmont Triad and more than 650 throughout its footprint in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The Credit Union has pioneered a mission-driven, member-focused, dynamic, engaging, collaborative workplace that operates on a belief of putting members first. As part of that commitment, Truliant has pioneered many areas to help improve its members’ lives, including the No-Cost Credit Review and TruFinancial Checkup — tools that help members gauge where they are in relation to their goals.
