So it’s that time of year when sugar plum fairies begin to dance in our heads and we dream of candy cane lanes filled with elves and toys for everyone. Have you noticed that there is a fee for almost everything you do?  It’s crazy how we are charged for virtually everything. It cost a quarter to put air in your tires? You pay to park at the hotel?  You have to pay a resort fee . . . at a resort???  How about your credit cards – chances are you have an annual fee to have the privilege of using the card even if you pay it back every month.  It’s things like this that really frustrate me, because we are “hit up” at every crossroad for something.
