It’s costly to send your children to college today, and the projections 10 years from now are hard to believe. You can never be too prepared financially when it’s time to help your child with higher education – and we all know that a college education can be one of the best investments for our kids.
But did you know (I didn’t until recently) that Truliant Federal Credit Union has four unique scholarship funds that they offer to their member-owners through the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation General Fund and other named scholarship funds? Truliant’s member-owners are eligible for four Scholar Vision Funds: the Fred J. Sarda Scholarships, the Winston-Salem Club Telephone Pioneers Scholarships, the Scholar Vision General Fund Scholarships and the Clyde O. Padgett Scholarship. Each of these scholarships could be a valuable resource for you and your student.
These scholarship programs are offered annually and the time is just around the corner to start applying for the fall of 2014. Applications need to be completed and returned to your local Truliant Member Financial Center or mailed to the address on the application by March 14, 2014.

Yet another way Truliant gives back to the community and helps their member-owners!
