Truliant Hosts Honduran Credit Union Representative

Contributed by: Heath Combs

Credit unions are cooperatives. We're financial institutions owned by our members.

One of the seven principles of credit union cooperatives is to strengthen the cooperative movement by working together through local, state, regional, national, and international structures.

Truliant recently was host to Vanessa Posse, a board member from the Honduran credit union Cooperativa Sagrada Familia.

Posse's credit union has over 300,000 members. While here, she toured Truliant facilities and met with several of our credit union's officials on Nov. 19, 2015 to discuss topics including financial education and member service.

We’re always grateful to meet with an international credit union representative and to work together to create better credit unions for the benefit of member owners like you.

Cooperativa Sagrada Familia is a member of the International Co-operative Alliance, or ACI-COOP.
