What Is Popmoney?
How Does Popmoney Work?
Popmoney uses your email address or phone number to allow you to send, request and receive money online or with your mobile device. This service is secure and available through Truliant to individual or business accounts. Your contact’s financial institution doesn't need to offer Popmoney to receive funds into their account.
There is no fee to make a payment.
Please note: the Popmoney recipient will need to follow the directions on the email or text message to accept and receive the funds.
What Is Popmoney Used For?
Popmoney is used to simplify the transfer of funds from person to person. It can be used for any common expense such as rent, a portion of a lunch bill or even the babysitter.
Where Can I Find PopMoney on the Truliant Website?
Login to online banking, click Move Money and External / Funds Transfers, PopMoney is on the right.
How Do I Transfer Money to Outside Account?
You can transfer money to non-Truliant accounts, yours or someone else’s. For my outside accounts
- Log into Online Banking
- Click Move Money
- Then External Transfers
- Then Transfer Between My Accounts
- Then follow the prompts.
For someone else’s account, use Popmoney®. Your contact’s financial institution doesn't need to offer Popmoney to receive funds into their account. Within Online Banking click Move Money then choose External Transfers then choose the service that fits your needs and follow the prompts.
