Yes, Truliant offers Mechanical Repair Coverage. We understand that a breakdown can be troubling enough without the added worry of expensive repairs.1 As your vehicle gets older, the risk and cost of repairs increases.

Mechanical Repair Coverage2, provides the added security of an extended warranty after your manufacturer warranty expires. You can add it to a vehicle under a lien or to one you have paid off already.

We offer three plans to meet your individual needs and budget. Talk to us today about what plan is right for you.

  1. Platinum: Our most comprehensive plan. Covers everything on the member’s vehicle except what’s listed under the What’s Not Covered section.
  2. Gold: Provides coverage for 13 major component groups and is considered a value-minded plan.
  3. Silver: Provides coverage for 11 major component groups. A basic yet robust plan. 

With Mechanical Repair Coverage,2 you will enjoy many valuable benefits such as:

  • Substitute Transportation - up to $50 per day up to a maximum of 10 days, available on the first day of coverage; options for rental car or rideshare are available
  • 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance - up to $125 per occurrence, includes towing, battery, jumpstart, fluid delivery, flat tire assistance and lock out service
  • Travel Expense Reimbursement - up to $200 per day (5-day maximum) for lodging, food and transportation expenses when a covered breakdown occurs 100 miles or more from home and your vehicle is held overnight at a repair facility; not available to residents of NY
  • Key Replacement (including fob and/or remote) - $800 per occurrence for the repair or replacement of lost, stolen or damaged keys including any programming; not available to residents of CT, MA, PA and VT
  • Paintless Dent Repair - repairs dings and dents no larger than 4 inches that are repairable through paintless dent repair techniques; not available to residents of CT
  • Commercial use - pays for covered breakdowns when your vehicle is used for permitted commercial purposes
  • No out-of-pocket expense (except for deductible) - the administrator pays the repair facility directly
  • Good at any authorized repair facility - in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada
  • Rideshare - pays for covered breakdowns when your vehicle is used for ride-sharing purposes such as Uber or Lyft
  • Mobility Equipment - provides coverage for mobility equipment components when installed by the manufacturer or a licensed installer
  • Transferable - if you sell your vehicle privately, the coverage can be transferred (for an administrative fee), may add resale value and appeal
  • Cancelable - receive a full refund for an unused agreement within the first 60 days, or a prorated refund thereafter less an administrative fee3

Eligibility

  • Coverage must be active before the specified mileage and model year expiration. Coverage will continue until the policy expires.
    • Current - 15 model years old and 150,000 miles or less
    • Maximum eligibility for European/Luxury Vehicles is 100,000 miles. Includes Audi, BMW, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Porsche, Smart, Tesla, Volvo and Volkswagen
