What is Shared Branching?
The shared branching CO-OP network allows Truliant members to perform limited transactions at participating credit union locations across the US. Not all credit unions are in the shared branch network.
Do I Already Have the Ability To Use a Shared Branch Location?
Requests for access to use Shared Branching can be made with your local branch or by calling us at 800-822-0382.
Things to know:
- The transactions you can complete at a shared branch will vary by institution. We recommend checking their website or calling ahead after you have found a convenient location.
- You will need to bring a legal photo ID and provide your member number to be able to perform a transaction.
- Find a shared branch that's near your destination on our locations page.
- On the map select the filter and check the 'CO-OP Shared Branch' box, then click the 'Apply' button.
What Transactions Can I Make at a Shared Branch?
The Shared Branching Network offers these Helpful Services:
- Deposits
- Cash-back transactions or withdrawals
- Balance inquiries
- Official Check Issuance
- Statement printouts, free for the last 10 transactions on an account
Can I Use a Shared Branch To Get an Official Check?
Yes, you can purchase an official check at a Shared Branching location. You should check with the location you plan to visit to learn about their specific maximum check amounts and associated fees.
