Truliant Names Hibbard Vice President of Digital Innovation

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (May 10, 2018) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Jeff Hibbard to the role of Vice President of Digital Innovation.

In this role, Hibbard will lead Truliant’s Digital Innovation team to drive the credit union’s digital innovation strategy and member experience and transform internal credit union processes. He reports to Rik Kielbasa, Chief Digital Officer.

“Jeff brings with him an intuitive approach to innovation, considerable digital management skills and a financial services background that will be invaluable to enhancing our digital capabilities,” Kielbasa said. “We’re excited about him being part of Truliant and making a difference in our members’ lives.”

Hibbard brings more than two decades experience in financial technology to Truliant. Most recently as Head of Product Development and Management at Fidor Solutions in Durham, N.C., Hibbard steered the investment strategy and execution for Fidor’s digital banking software product lines for customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

In previous roles at BB&T Corp. and TD Bank Group, Hibbard provided guidance in digital product development and software engineering, helping lead efforts to develop and transform digital infrastructure in guidance, account acquisition and digital platforms and payments.

Hibbard holds a Master of Science in the Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  He is also a graduate of the Fintech Future Commerce program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  

Hibbard also serves as an admissions advisor to the University of Virginia’s Master of Science in the Management of Information Technology program.
