WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (May 15, 2018) – Truliant Federal Credit Union announced that today it has opened its second Member Financial Center location in Asheboro.
Led by Manager Allison Hammer, the 3,200 square-foot branch is located at 1200 N. Fayetteville St., Suite F in the Oakie Mountain Shopping Center near Food Lion, about 3.5 miles from Truliant’s current branch at 1055 East Dixie Drive.
The new location provides member-owners with the latest in financial products and services while maintaining a focus on the personal attention and convenience that Truliant has become known for by its members. The Asheboro branch is Truliant’s 14th in the Triad and its first new Member Financial Center in the region since the credit union’s Peace Haven Road, Winston-Salem and Elon locations opened in 2014.
Additionally, the Asheboro opening follows a ten Member Financial Center expansion in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region that was completed in 2017. The new location gives Truliant a total of 34 locations.
The new Asheboro location features an updated branch design that reflects the credit union’s Life ImprovedTM brand. It does away with traditional teller lines, instead, offering unique teller pods to provide an enhanced side-by-side, more personal member service experience. It also utilizes electronic signature pads to accelerate processes for members and improve efficiencies for employees, ultimately providing them with additional time to focus on member needs.
Additionally, the location offers a stand-alone 24-hour Smart ATM in the parking lot, which is equipped with a touch screen and enhanced technology features that allow member owners to view deposited checks on their receipts, see an itemized list of deposits, and accepts multiple deposits without an envelope. And, as with all Truliant branches, it offers free checking, easy access, and a member-owner greeting station.
The new Asheboro Member Financial Center is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
