Murray Named Senior Vice President of Member Experience and Operations
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (April 4, 2019) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has promoted Chris Murray to the role of Senior Vice President of Member Experience and Operations.
In his new role, Murray will be responsible for overseeing Member Financial Centers, credit administration, traditional marketing, and indirect auto lending. He reports to Anderson Langford, Truliant’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Chris earned this promotion by distinguishing himself through the many invaluable contributions he has made to our credit union,” Langford said. “His devotion to Truliant members is evident in all he does. His dedication to excellence remains steadfast, increasing with each new role he holds. We are grateful for his service.”
Among his accomplishments at Truliant, Murray helped develop and implement several strategic initiatives such as the No-Cost Credit Review, an employee coaching model, and its Brand Ambassadors program. More recently, he enhanced the business model for Truliant’s indirect auto lending program. As he took on traditional marketing responsibilities in 2018, Murray expanded Truliant’s brand awareness, promoting the credit union’s mission of enhancing life quality for its members.
He is responsible for leading Truliant’s network of more than 30 Member Financial Centers, including its Eastern, Central and Southern regions. His oversight includes branch operations, reporting, expansion, policy, and procedures.
Murray joined Truliant in 2009 as manager of the High Point Member Center. In 2011, he was promoted to area manager, and soon thereafter to regional director. Advancing to the role of Vice President of Member Experience in 2017, Murray directed the MFC network and the In-Direct Lending program. In 2018, his range of responsibility expanded to include Traditional Marketing.
Murray serves on the community leadership board for the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
