At the grand opening, Truliant presented a donation of $6,000 to the Greensboro Aquatic Center for second graders at Joyner Elementary and General Greene Elementary in Greensboro to receive swim education. The Aquatic Center has a goal of teaching swim lessons to all Guilford County Schools second graders.
“We remain focused on providing Truliant members with exceptional value through convenient locations, a strong and experienced team, and individualized help for their financial wellness and lending needs,” said Chris Murray, senior vice president of member experience and operations.
“Additionally, as we bring greater access to the Greensboro community, we look forward to getting even more involved with local organizations to fulfill the credit union philosophy of people helping people.”
The new Truliant location follows the recent opening of its New Garden branch in Greensboro, and a second location in Asheboro last year. An open floor plan and teller pods remove barriers that allow for a more consultative approach to member interaction. This unique design concept focuses on modernization, service and member experience.
The location also features an interactive kiosk terminal, which allows members to watch member testimonials, learn about Truliant’s history, find information about promotions, tutorials and more. The branch embraces Truliant’s culture of improving lives and is being led by Manager Milli Herring.
Truliant plans to open the Triad Commercial Lending Office, 600 Green Valley Road in Greensboro later this year. As a part of this development, the W. Friendly Avenue branch will move to the commercial lending office.
The 4,330-square-foot office space is located just off Wendover Avenue at Friendly Shopping Center on the corner of Friendly Avenue and Green Valley Road.
The new Battleground Member Financial Center is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
