Truliant Names Dezarn Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (August 3, 2018) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Laura Dezarn to the role of vice president of IT Infrastructure and Operations.
Dezarn will manage Truliant’s IT infrastructure and work closely with senior management to develop, integrate and implement technologies to support the credit union’s operational and strategic IT goals. She will lead the Infrastructure Services, Information Security, System Operations, and Telecom Services teams. Dezarn reports to Sandeep Uthra, Chief Information Officer.

Dezarn has two decades of IT leadership experience, including 12 years in the financial services industry. In 1999, she began her financial and insurance services career at GMAC Insurance in Winston-Salem, holding IT leadership roles including Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Manager, Data Architect Manager and Project Delivery Assurance Manager.
In 2013, she joined Key Risk, a workers’ compensation insurance company in Greensboro as Chief Information Officer. She has also worked on teams at Ecolab, Volvo IT, VF Corporation and Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Dezarn’s community involvement in Winston-Salem includes a chapter advisory role for the Wake Forest University chapter of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She also serves as an advisory board member for the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem.
Dezarn graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Computer Science. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
