McLean Named Manager at Clemmons

McLean Named Manager at Clemmons

Release date: 11/5/2014

CLEMMONS, N.C. (Nov. 5, 2014) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Liliana McLean as manager at its Clemmons Member Financial Center branch location.

McLean will be responsible for growing Truliant’s member-owner base in Clemmons, cultivating strong ties with local members and business partners and working with branch staff to develop the abilities that elevate Truliant members’ financial standing by offering the caring and capable attention they deserve.

She began her career with Truliant in 2005 as a part-time service representative and was quickly moved to other areas within the financial institution's Clemmons branch before moving to leadership roles there in 2009.

"Lily has proven to be a passionate advocate for both her members and her staff. This is due to her ability to teach and guide others to make informed decisions," said Rik Kielbasa, senior vice president member experience.

"McLean has earned this opportunity through her strong commitment to her own performance, in her determination in helping members improve their lives, and in being a leader others can trust and follow to reach success."

McLean is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting and works as a treasurer for the nonprofit group Women Who Care, which helps single mothers with child care needs. She is also the 2014 winner of one of Truliant's highest internal honors, the Bonita Hauser Philosophy in Action Award, recognizing employees for outstanding service to members, the credit union and the communities it serves.

McLean has an eight-year-old son, Hayden, and is the owner of Rico, a pit bull. She is motivated by a desire to help member-owners reach their financial goals. "Whether that's improving lives by helping members become debt free in a shorter period of time, rebuilding credit or helping a buyer with a first time home purchase, our goal is to empower individuals while encouraging responsible financial behavior," McLean said.
