Our Current Board of Directors:
Gregory T. Johnson
Chairman
Greg Johnson has been a Truliant Board Member since 2016. He is employed by Orbital Socket, a Creative Marketing Consultancy firm he founded and is in the position of Managing Director. Mr. Johnson joined the Credit Union Board to contribute to the amazing story of how Truliant helps change lives and deeply impacts its communities.
James T. Flythe
Vice Chairman
Jimmy Flythe Jr. has been a Truliant Board Member since 2011. He has been employed by Duke Energy since 1985 and is currently the Director of Government and Community Relations for the West Region of North Carolina. He joined the Credit Union Board to help members improve their finances.
James M. Wilson Jr.
Treasurer
James Wilson has been a Truliant Board Member since 2011 and a Credit Union Volunteer since 2006. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and currently serves as Corporate Controller at Furnitureland South, the world’s largest furniture store. Mr. Wilson joined the Credit Union Board to help Truliant’s members receive unbiased financial advice and services.
Regina O. Heyward
Secretary
Regina O. Heyward has been a Truliant Board Member since July 2022. She has more than two decades of multi-industry global business experience having led significant commercial and DEI-related initiatives in North America, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Regina is a licensed attorney in the State of North Carolina and has worked as an executive leader for significant financial services firms including Capital One, Wells Fargo, and MassMutual. Ms. Heyward joined the Credit Union Board to support its mission of helping underrepresented communities access financial services and capital.
Barbara A. Demarest
Director
Barbara Demarest has been a Truliant Board Member since 2014. She is an independent strategy consultant working with membership organizations, universities, and foundations. Ms. Demarest joined the Credit Union Board to help promote the idea of member-ownership and the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”
Steve Dollase
Director
Steve Dollase has been a Truliant Board Member since October 2017. He is currently a leader in Deloitte’s Global Supply Chain Consulting Practice and formerly was the President at Inmar Intelligence. Mr. Dollase joined the Credit Union Board to foster innovation, to help grow and diversify its member base, and to help further Truliant's mission to improve the financial lives of its members.
Kimberly Bullock Gatling
Director
Kimberly Bullock Gatling has been a Truliant Board Member since February 2021. She has been with Fox Rothschild LLP for over twenty years and is a Partner and the Chief Cultural Engagement Officer for the law firm. Ms. Gatling joined the Credit Union Board in order to help Truliant’s members meet their financial goals through increased access to financial services.
Martha Logemann
Director
Martha Logemann has been a Truliant Board Member since 2011. Until recently, she owned a small niche CPA practice that provided controller and financial manager services. Ms. Logemann joined the Credit Union Board to give back to the community through helping Truliant’s members achieve their financial goals.
Beatriz E. Rodriguez
Director
Beatriz Rodriguez has been a Truliant Board Member since August 2022. She is an AVP, Senior HR Business Partner at Atrium Health. Ms. Rodriguez joined the Credit Union Board to support the growth and expansion of our diversity and inclusion efforts in our community and help improve our members' financial lives.
Thomas G. Harding
Associate Director
Tom Harding has been a Truliant Volunteer since 1998. He was employed by AmTrust Financial Services in the position of Assistant Vice President on the Global Financial System Integration and Support Team. Mr. Harding joined the Credit Union Board in order to help members recognize the unique opportunity of being a CU member and realize the benefits of being a member.
Todd King
Associate Director
Todd King has been a Truliant Board Member since September 2024. He was employed by Big Rock Stone, a building supply company he founded 35 years ago. After selling the business in 2020, he stepped down as CEO in 2023. Mr. King joined the Credit Union Board because Truliant is innovative in the financial education of its member-owners which positively impacts communities across multiple states.

Non-Sufficient Funds occur when there isn’t enough money in your account to complete a payment. If this happens, we’ll simply reject the payment — and we won’t charge you a fee.
