Official Contest Rules

Truliant Federal Credit Union (“Truliant”) will conduct this contest substantially as described in these Official Rules (“Rules”). Participation in the contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Rules. This contest may be temporarily postponed, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
- Contest Period: The contest begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time on June 27, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 31, 2025 (“Promotion Period”). The drawing will take place on the second Monday of the month following the end of the promotional period. Truliant reserves the right to shorten or extend the contest period.
- Eligibility: Open to Truliant Federal Credit Union members who are the primary cardholder of a Truliant credit card in good standing. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Truliant, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements in these Rules.
- How to Enter: Eligible Truliant credit cardholders will automatically receive contest entry for qualifying purchases made on their Truliant credit card during the contest period. No additional registration is necessary.
To enter without making a purchase, eligible individuals may submit a mail-in entry. To do so, hand-print your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address and mail it in a #10 envelope to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2025 and received by August 7, 2025 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person. Truliant is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or incomplete entries. Entries become the property of Truliant and will not be returned.
Winners selected through the no-purchase-necessary method will receive a statement credit to their Truliant credit card account equal to the average amount of statement credits awarded to winners who qualified through purchase-based entries, up to a maximum of $1,000.00. In order to receive the prize, the mail-in winner must have an open Truliant credit card account in good standing at the time of prize award. If no such account exists, Truliant reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
- Prize Description: Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected to receive a statement credit equal to the total amount of qualifying purchases posted to their Truliant credit card account during the promotion period, up to a maximum of $1,000.00 per winner. The statement credit has no cash value and is non-transferable. Truliant will not reimburse any interest charges incurred during the promotion period. Any late payment fees assessed during the period will be deducted from the credited amount. Cash advances and balance transfers count as purchases and are eligible for reimbursement; however, the cardholder is responsible for any applicable fees and interest.
The statement credit will be applied within 30 days of winner verification, and the cardholder must be in good standing at the time of the credit application.
- Winner Selection and Odds: The winner will be selected in a random drawing on the second Monday after the contest ends. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the promotion period.
- Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by phone or email within 48 hours of the drawing. Winners must have valid contact information (phone or email) where they can be notified, or Truliant reserves the right to award the prize to another winner.
- Prize Acceptance and Publicity: By accepting the prize, winner agrees to allow Truliant to use their name, likeness, and photograph for promotional purposes in any media, in perpetuity and without compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Taxes: The value of any prize awarded to a winner must be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners must provide Truliant with valid identification, and a valid taxpayer identification number or Social Security number for total prizes valued at $600.00 or more, before any prize will be awarded.
- Conditions and Disqualification: Truliant reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest or disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Rules. Suspected fraudulent activity will result in disqualification.
- Limitation of Liability: Truliant and its affiliates are not responsible for:
- Technical, hardware, software, or delivery failures of any kind.
- Lost, incomplete, or delayed entries.
- Damage to computers or mobile devices resulting from participation.
- Personal injury or property damage resulting from prize use.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TRULIANT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES.
- Indemnification: By entering, participants agree to:
- Be bound by these Rules and Truliant’s decisions.
- Release and hold harmless Truliant, its employees, officers, affiliates, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any liability or claims arising from participation, entry, or prize acceptance and use.
- Indemnify the Released Parties against any and all losses, damages, or expenses resulting from claims related to contest participation.
- Telephone and Delivery Disclaimer: Truliant is not responsible for miscommunication, lost emails or phone calls, or any failure of delivery caused by internet, postal, or phone service disruptions or other uncontrollable events.
- Choice of Law and Jurisdiction: This contest is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to conflict of laws principles. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of North Carolina, and participants consent to such jurisdiction.
- Compliance with Law: Truliant will conduct this contest in accordance with all applicable federal credit union regulations, including those enforced by the NCUA and under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA).
