Truliant Names Alderman Director of Mortgage Services

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (March 12, 2019) – Truliant Federal Credit Union has named Kim Alderman to the role of Director of Mortgage Services.

In this role, Alderman will be responsible for management of Truliant’s Mortgage Services department, with responsibility for overall leadership, performance, growth, administration and strategic direction. She reports to Anderson Langford, Chief Operating Officer.

“Kim earned this opportunity by leading others to achieve high performance, continually developing talent within the organization and consistently living the Truliant mission,” Langford said. “With her proven success in mortgage lending and knowledge of our branch network, Truliant members will benefit from having her in their corner as they work toward achieving homeownership.”

Alderman joined Truliant in August of 2016 as Regional Director for Member Financial Centers in Truliant’s Central Region, leading and supervising locations.

Prior to joining Truliant, she served as a First Community Bank regional manager for Forsyth and Surry counties. Overseeing the consumer and mortgage portfolio, Alderman managed teams that achieved performance success in both retail and mortgage lending.

Alderman began her financial services career in 1999 as a customer service representative for Central Carolina Bank in Winston-Salem. Over the next decade she held many different roles in areas such as personal banking, small business banking, mortgage lending and investments.

Alderman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bluefield State College and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Gardner-Webb University.

Her efforts to empower staff and serve members contributed to Best Places to Work wins in the Extra Large Employer category from Triad Business Journal in 2017 and 2018.
