Truliant Opens New Regional Office in Charlotte
Truliant recognized the office’s opening at an event with Charlotte business and community leaders this month. The office will improve Truliant’s visibility in Charlotte and the greater region and offer a flexible workplace for employees. It will serve as a base for commercial lending, key leaders, and regional executives. The credit union’s name is now prominently featured on top-band signage on the front and back of the eight-story building.
“Our new office represents Truliant's longstanding commitment to the Charlotte area. It allows us to increase our presence in the region significantly,” said Todd Hall, president and CEO of Truliant. “It will be used to strengthen connections and grow partnerships, and better align ourselves with the interests of the community.”
Truliant employs more than 100 people in the Charlotte area and operates 10 branches in the market. Founded in 1952, it serves more than 336,000 members in the Carolinas and Virginia, and ranks as the second-largest credit union in the Charlotte region. Truliant has had a branch presence in the Charlotte market since 1987.
During the event, the Truliant Foundation presented a $25,000 check to Dress for Success Charlotte to work toward the organization’s goal of workforce empowerment of women through professional attire and career development programs.
The Truliant Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity transforming Truliant member communities through charitable giving, collaboration, and partnerships, has contributed more than $650,000 to more than 134 Charlotte-area organizations in collaboration with Truliant since 2021.
In Charlotte, Truliant plans to strategically expand its branch network and pursue sponsorship and other opportunities. The SouthPark neighborhood is known for its office, retail, and restaurants, as a destination of boutiques and shopping centers, and as a popular spot for cuisine and design-forward housing.
