Truliant’s mission is to improve the lives of our members and become their preferred financial institution.
To show our dedication to this mission and our member-owners, an obelisk was designed and built in 2005 at our Winston-Salem headquarters to mimic one of the sun’s rays that emanates from our logo.
An ambient light sits atop the 64-foot structure, and is visible in the evening and early morning hours. The ambient light, or orb, indicates members’ satisfaction with service by displaying a color that correlates with their recent experiences and general awareness of ownership. Blue denotes high levels of satisfaction and awareness. Should satisfaction and awareness decline, the light will change to green and then yellow.
Every eighth member who completes a TruFinancial Checkup in a Member Financial Center or with the Member Contact Center is asked to answer two quick questions. One, are they satisfied with the level of service received at Truliant? And two, do they consider themselves to be a part of Truliant, denoting an awareness of member-ownership. The results of the survey are collected electronically and transmitted to the orb in the Obelisk. The light represents a rolling average for the past 90 days, and is updated every 17 minutes.
By continuing to provide excellent delivery of our mission and service to our members, our goal is to keep a deep blue hue glowing atop the obelisk indicating favorable member satisfaction and a strong sense of ownership. The obelisk serves as a real-time testament to member satisfaction.
